“A life of culture” are not the first words that come to mind when one hears mention of the Viking Age. But art and culture flourished in many ways in those days.
This book, which provides an overview of different artistic styles and forms that emerged during the Viking period, contains over 60 images of important artefacts along with quotations from Viking Age literature.
