Edvard Munch, the best-known of all Norwegian artists, created work that is as alive and significant today as it was in his own time. This book contains 42 images of some of Munch’s most famous paintings, lithographs and drawings.
Text by: Holger Koefoed (b. 1945) holds a degree in art history from the University of Oslo. He has written books on Norwegian and Nordic art. He has also worked at the Norwegian National Gallery and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, both in Oslo. Koefoed is currently an associate professor at the National College of Art and Design, Oslo.
